Reaching the Light of the Divine (KB)

Sometimes we are in such a hurry that we do not see the tender little ways that we can extend ourselves for others along our path. Other times, we are so focused on reaching our destination that we forget to give and receive simple kindnesses that perhaps have more value than the attainment of the goal we are striving for. In the problems, issues, and distractions of our daily lives, it is so easy to miss what is important. All too often, we get so wrapped up in our immediate experience that we lose sight of what it is that we truly value. When it comes down to it, our life is a bundle of the things we have done that have brought love and benefit to others. It is through those things that we reach the Light of the Divine.
