Becoming Pure (KB)

It is said that something that is pure can come only from something that is impure. What does this mean? We know that we are each born into this world with certain elevations that we have to go through, certain things we that need to do in our life, certain pain that we need to endure, certain specific cleansing processes we must undergo. All of us do. That’s why we’ve been put here. If at the end of each of these challenges, we have the understanding that everything that we’ve faced and every place that we’ve been was there to enable us to go on to another level of spirituality, then we have the power to take all the negative things we have done, thought, and said, and use them to bring ourselves to another level of consciousness—in other words, to become better for having been negative. In this way, that which is impure can be made pure.
