The ending of a relationship, an illness, or any other sort of loss can all be catalysts for change and for developing a clarity of purpose. Oftentimes it is these types of difficulties that bring us to a space where we really start thinking about our life and asking questions like: What have I really accomplished? What have I changed? What have I done to bring forth my spirituality in this world? What have I done to develop that part of me that is higher and more elevated than the animals? In these moments of self-questioning, we can potentially undergo profound change. Through the pain and pressure, we are awakened be more out there, to become more aware of what’s around us, to do something for our family and friends, to share with our community. We realize, with a new clarity, that we need to make a difference in this world and we don’t have forever to do it. Think about your life today. Whatever challenge you are facing could be a knock on your door that says: “Wake up! Remember who you are and your purpose for being here.” |
