Bearing Fruit in Your Life (KB)

When you want a seed to grow, you need to first plant it deep in the earth, covering it in dirt and darkness. Only when it is buried and then watered by rain does it force its way upward out of the ground to eventually become a flower, a tree, or a fruit.

In the same way, we, as human beings, also need to go through certain trials. In this world, everything that comes to us and everything that we do has to involve some sort of effort. There are no free trips in this life even though we might think – or wish – there were. To make our inner light shine outwards, to make it possible for us to reach our spiritual goal, our journey needs to include pain, negativity, and challenges that can be difficult.

Light comes out of darkness. Without challenge, there is no triumph. Without tremendous effort, a seed cannot push its way up out of the earth to become the magnificent tree that it is destined to be.
