Freedom

When I Say Yes to Your Spirit, I am saying yes to responsibility. I have the ability to respond to life, all of life: the healthy and the wounded. Divinity seems strangely broken in many parts of the world. Some people still suffer racism, poverty, religious oppression, and dictatorships. This is real. My spirituality has never been Pollyanna-ish. Some people need not only my prayers but also my help. Jesus said, "Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me." (Matthew 25:40) When I fight for freedom, I am freed.

I know I dance with energy when I am free. This is true for my neighbor.
